Comic book art

This is Lucifer from Lady Death.

Looking back at some of the stuff I used to draw (the comic book stuff) I'm realizing that I'm moving in a different direction. Weird.

I have one sketch book that's filled w/nothing but celtic tattoo work. I filled that one in about 2 mths and haven't done much of that type of art since.

Also have a sketch book from quite a few years ago that is nothing but tattoo art.

Not to put too fine of a cheese-head on it (damn Packers) but I'm beginning to wonder if I'm not trying to "find" myself. Drawing ... calms me.

Tomb Raider

This one is from a few yrs ago - about the time I really started getting into drawing.

Hard (for me) to believe that I made it to the ripe ol' age of 30 something before I figured out I could draw. Then a few more years to actually believe it. I still look at some of my drawings and think "I can't believe that I drew this".

And to answer (quite) a few inquiries, I'll probably never do anything w/this ability. Just don't have the confidence. I'm weird that way.

Cherry Blossom

This will be my next tattoo. Cherry blossoms are my absolute favorite flower and time of year.

I really like how this turned out, even w/out color.

It will be on my left forearm, starting on my inside wrist and wrapping around as it ascends. I'll probably add butterflies or a fairies to it later.
