Tomb Raider

This one is from a few yrs ago - about the time I really started getting into drawing.

Hard (for me) to believe that I made it to the ripe ol' age of 30 something before I figured out I could draw. Then a few more years to actually believe it. I still look at some of my drawings and think "I can't believe that I drew this".

And to answer (quite) a few inquiries, I'll probably never do anything w/this ability. Just don't have the confidence. I'm weird that way.

This has always been one of my favorites.

  1. well, this is a lot better than a lot of artists out there who are getting work and maybe making a living with their art. you do have the talent (but what do i know) to market this stuff. and i'm sure people want to get upset with you for not having the confidence to pursue it, etc. but really, shouldn't any artistic endeavor be for the artist's gratification, edification, whatever first of all? if they make some money at it, then that's just gravy. and, usually, to make money, you have to please the market, whatever that may be. you ever getting tired of the hack thing, you might consider being an illustrator. just sayin'....
